Default electric seats install ?

Would the install of electric seats in an older car (68 Torino ) require a relay, or just a fuse?

Seats have , forward/back, up/down, recline, and power head rests.

Near as I can tell (BMW forums) they would need a 30 amp fuse, 12 gauge wire.

I was going to install an ATO block near the current fuse block on the firewall, which is left of the clutch pedal.

Thanks, Joe

Fuse for sure, relay might not be a bad idea if the seats use a lot of juice to move

I put power seats in my truck off a wire that is powered when the iginition key is on (just to be a bit on the safe side).

If I put power seats in again in something, I would definitely run them off a relay like the other poster suggested just to be safer.

Thanks,
yea the more I thought about having two 10 ga "continuous" hot wires underneath the carpet the less i like it. Relays have been purchased.
