Default Awesome pic of Larry Woo's '68 at the Motor State Challenge

Rob M's camera handiwork...the way Woo's car is sitting it reminds me of the old phrase 'squatters' rights'.

Not new news of course, but for those who haven't seen them there are many more pics of the event here;

I've seen Larry's car in person, photos don't do justice. It's really clean and sounds fantastic when he's in the throttle.

That pic is of Danny Popp flogging Larry's car with Larry riding shotgun.

Too me the pic looks just right. The right stance, no torque on the body. Planted. Set up just right. Beauty for us f body junkies.....

Not only is his car cool -- he's a pretty good guy himself. He can take a joke and dish one out too.

On Sunday after OUSCI (since I spent the night in the "pits" there at Spring Mountain) - I walked over to where Larry was working on his car. He had come all the way out from the midwest if I remember… and his car wasn't acting healthy - and he planned to continue on to Scottsdale GoodGuys for the Auto X shootout.

Now here he is - with a couple buddies - in the middle of a large parking lot - tearing into his blown LS motor - blown as in blower… and by gawd they were going to pull the head right there! I offered tools etc but they seemed to have plenty.

The point of the story is - rather than just trailer it and head home -- he was going to bust knuckles on the car and see if they could at least make Scottsdale. That's a hot rodder right there!!

He made it -- and the car is kool! So is he.
