Default VIDEO - mid 10 second '66 Biscayne pass / Year One Exp.

Hey all -

I realize this ain't no Pro Touring car, but I thought it was fun... we shot this at the Year One Experience. Nick Scavo brought a street car he's been playing with.

'66 Chevy Biscayne
No rollbar, bench seat, column shift, stealth minitubs, no gauges. Stock rear suspension with the instant center lengthened and a couple other basic tricks. Under the hood is the Fast Times 540 BBC that powered Nick's '65 Impala cross country on the 1996 Power Tour. This Biscayne is a 4400 pound car, and this video shows a 10.61 @ 132.64mph pass. Shortly after, the car had to be put away because of the NHRA 11.99 rollcage rule. (Nick says this one's a street car... a cage would hurt it's "earnings potential"... )
