Default Danny Popp Wins 2013 Holley LS Fest Grand Champion on Forgeline GA3R Wheels

Our friend Danny Popp earned the Grand Champion award at the 2013 Holley LS Fest this past weekend with his 1972 Corvette Stingray on Forgeline GA3R wheels. Great job, Danny! And nice shirt! See more of this car at: http://www.forgeline.com/customer_ga...ew.php?cvk=639

The car looks good. What is the suspension setup?

I'll defer to the Chevy High Performance article from awhile back:

That car is absolutely gorgeous, and of course I'm partial to the wheel selection. But I have to ask... Is LS Fest not limited to just LS engines? Unless he's changed it, the pictures on the Forgeline site show an SBC in there I believe...

Ah, that makes sense. I too love this car. That's my favorite body-style Vette, and if I built one, it would almost be a replica of this car. Would be a nice sister to TOW.

Yes, car was LS swapped in a week before the Columbus GG event and we have been sorting the car for further PT/GG events....it is coming around

Lingenfelter built a destroked LS7 at my request for this car , using some of my existing pieces, car lost a bit of weight and gained a fare amount of power and engine speed capability. Now I just have to make the rear of the car more bullet proof. Currently it is like a prize fighter with a glass jaw...It will be fixed before Indy GG.
