Default Advice needed, Calipers hit spokes..

So installed my calipers and rotors (GM 6 piston)..and they hit the spokes.
I guess I could send the Rims back and have them turned down but that may turn into a nightmare..
thinking about just using a 3/8 inch spacer and new longer wheel studs.
Would that be OK? I see lots of Corvette guys on the forums saying they do it.... (My car has c6 spindles)
i would trim the wheel lip if needed..

thanks for any advice.

I don't blame you for not wanting to send your wheels back...

Lots of people run small spacers on street cars with little effect Jerry. If you can't live with it, your only alternative is to get the wheels fixed or look for a cailper/rotor combo that clears.

Just curious, did you tell your wheel vendor what brakes you were running at time of order?

Thanks for your help the other day

I cant remember if I told them as I was considering BEAR for sometime as well. I took my axles out today tried to take measurements and then realized the only way to do it right is to hang a plumb string... Tomorrow I will get you a measurement for the housing end to end...
