anyone know the max wheel width for a 87 Monte Carlo SS?

Check out sicmonte on pro-touring. I don't know if thats the widest, but he has a frame notch in the rear.

I did not have an SS but an 87` 442 Stock frame, I had 8.5 *18, I could go bigger, but not much, maybe 9.0 at most. 9.5 With easy driving/show. I like to have some room for movement too.. And With Stock bushings and such, it moves around..

But they have different bodys, so I dont know. And a frame notch does alot!

I may add that my car had different Space on each side, something to think of, especially with frame cars, and old cars With old bushings or that People have had frame off and such, check both sides, atleast if you are going Maximum width possible.

Many Things could have happened through the years..
