Default Tr6060 tech

I've posted asking before about this, but haven't found much info about it.
I'm building a 68 Camaro 'vert with a 383 sbc with Holley's new electronics and a carbon fiber intake, Morrison front clip, heidts Pro-G Irs, 275/345 tires, speed adaptive air ride, etc, etc.

My search is for info on the tranny. I have a tr6060 here with less than 1k miles on it, with upgraded synchros, etc and I'd like to get it to mate to the sbc. Its a late model one piece rear main engine, with an internally balanced stroker kit.
I've read all the threads about converting to the Magnum, etc, etc, and although that's an option, since I'm already using an IRS, I don't care about the rear yoke. I'm also using a Dominator ecm, Dakota VHX gauges, and an ISIS wiring system, so the electronics and such aren't an issue either. I'm also 6'3", so the shifter further rearward will help keep from leaning forward and punching the dash everytime I shift to 3rd really hard..
The car is currently still finished and in show quality in it's current state, and I'm planning a very rapid build once I've got everything together, so it's not currently possible to pull it apart and compare. Tremec and Hurst have both just tried to sell me all the parts for the mod, but I want it to be different, and I know it can be done, just have to figure out how much to add/subtract to get it to mate to the engine!

I'm mainly looking to see if anyone knows what the differences are in the lenghts of the input shafts, depths of the bellhousings (or the differences in relation to the two) etc, simply for physical adaptability. The car currently has a TKO600, and I've done numerous LS to Richmond 6spd, Muncie swaps and am familiar with the adapters for the pilot bearing.
What is physically different about the TKO to the 6060? From the ammount of change in the new motor to old tranny, I'm wondering if running a plate similar to a Lakewood bell housings front plate as a "spacer" would do it?

Sorry it may seem like a dumb question, but I want to have my homework done ahead of time.

Was lookin at the same for mine wondering how your going with it..

A friend put one in his hotrad with a Big Block, he put a spacer in it somethwere,...hes away atm..
But Ill ask.
My big fear was that it would not fit in the tranny tunnel, in Australia if I cut up the tunnel Ive got to get an engineers report for the car,...dont want to do that..
Heres a link to a 6060 build but running an LS2/3
