Do you have a web base photo hosting site such as photobucket or do you want to use photos save on your computer's drive?

Regarding seeing photos, it could be your web browsers settings, the pictures used in the post may have been on a photo hosting site and the user deleted the photo, closed the account, or the hosting site is temporarily down.

Currently it appears the paperclip icon used for attaching photos is inactive on the site or your current post count is too low to qualify for certain site privileges...........???

If you have a photo hosting site, selection the size of photo you want to post (not too large please, especially for laptop users) right click and copy the image URL, then click on the insert image icon (mountain/sun) and paste the link in the pop-up.

Hopefully the admin (Jody) will catch this and chime in.

There's a thread here in the questions/comments section that gives instructions for posting pics.

https://lateral-g.net/forums/showthread.php4?t=9127

Are you saying that pictures in threads on this site aren't showing up for you, or pics that you're trying to get posted aren't working? I know Photobucket has been getting a lot of issues lately with pics disappearing in threads. I've never used that site myself.

Regarding photobucket...........I'm SmugMug.com all the way, coming up on ten years now. Best $35 I spend a year. No spam, no ads, just solid photo management.

You can upload pics from your computer directly into a thread. Not sure you can go directly from phone, so email/transfer the phone pic to your computer first. Just use the "manage attachments" option when making a post, scroll down to see it.

Click "manage attachments"

Click "browse" and then put in where your photo is in your computer.

Click "upload".

The pics will automatically show up in your post, no web hosting needed.
