1967-8 F-body VaporWorx Fuel Tank Complete.

Up for sale is a modified Rick's VaporWorx fuel tank for 1967-8 F-body (Camaro/Firebird). This tank is the standard size 15-gallon tank with an overall depth of 7", so it hangs down less than the newer versions.

Features:

1) It is a stock width tank with no corner clips. It fits well in a stock chassis with stock wheelwells.

2)The tank has dual corner pickups for excellent low-fuel level performance.

3) A 0-90 ohm stock style fuel level sensor is used so it will work just like the OE type. It is wired through the fuel module hat so there are no additional tank penetrations.

4) The Gen 5 LS3 fuel module has five minutes of run time. It was used to test the flowrate vs. pressure performance of the pump.

5) The fuel pressure regulator has been changed to a 58psi output for use with fuel injection systems. No external filters or pressure regulators are needed.

6) A new GM cam locking ring us included.

7) A VaporWorx chassis-specific wiring harness is included. The harness is set up properly for the in-tank fuel level sensor.

8) A power relay is included along with a relay plug and terminal kit. The terminal kit allows for a clean installation with no splicing of wires.

9) A Russell AN6 fuel outlet connector is included. This is the good version that won't come off.

10) A pre-bent AN6 hardline is suppled as shown in the photo.

11) The Rick's stainless steel tank mounting straps included.

12) Completely assembled and ready to go except for the fuel line. It will not be attached due to the likelyhood of being damaged during shipment.

This is the prototype tank used for the development of the VaporWorx kits so it's performance is well documented. It will serve its new owner well.
