Default GM vs Reproduction Door Hinges - HELP

INFO:
67 Firebird

I know many say to rebuild the hinges you have because the aftermarket are not very good. But my hinges were in VERY bad shape and possibly bent.SO I am kind of forced to use aftermarket hinges.

Question: Is there a certain part, area or item I should be concerned about? Is there a way to rebuild the aftermarket hinge to make it as good as a GM? What should I get... parts?

I would rather rebuild the hinges now, than later when the car is put together and I have to deal with paint and fitment.

Here is what I have:

Lower Hinges is suppose to be a "GM Restoration Part" and does look like it is a rebuild factory hinge. Are these OK? area of concern?

Upper Hinges are reproduction: I do see they use some sort of plastic bushing rather than a brass bushing like the factory hinge. Should I replace these right away with brass? or is plastic just as good?

Send them back! Reproduction hinges are complete junk. Put a search out for used GM hinges.

I'll second that... search for GM hinges and have them rebuilt. I sent mine to Year One and they blasted, new pins and bushing ... nice work.
