Default Well, whattya know....

I must be Chip Foose's distant relative. Seems that someone likes the way my speester looks so much that they are copying it. Kris, I hope you at least give credit where it is due on the design, dude.

The similarities are just amazing.

Jim -
Copying is a form of flattery. Must like your car and Kris's ideas too.
Nice.

Don't feel bad Jimbo...it was only a matter of time...Most any convertible car design out there eventually gets the "speedster" treatment, by somebody...

...Now how about engineering a retractable hardtop, ala Caddy XLR roadster? That would be unique...

Well I do see some differences.
the black car has the brake light sticking out of the cover.
The yellow one has the brake light molded into it.
So its not an exact replica. As soon as there is a difference then the other person can claim the design as there own.

This is exactly why I do not reveal all my ideas for my car. It would be nice to have a rendering of what my car will look like but I think I will just draw my own and keep it to myself.
