Hey everyone.
This site is great, and have already received great help and advise from you guys. I've been lurking around here for a while, but figured I'd post a brief introduction.
After searching for 6 months, I found a lonely old shell of a 68 coupe. It had fiberglass front fenders and four different size winter tires, but it was the roller I had been looking for.
Started with a set of billet specialties Draft wheels. 18x12 rears, and 18x9 fronts. Once the wheels arrived, a quick measurement for a rear end, and ordered a shortened M9 from moser. With the wheels back from powdercoat, mini tubs complete, speedtech frame and ridetech suspension installed, the car was back on its feet.
I chose to go old school and went carbureted route. 540 big block, built by Scott Shafiroff. Dyno sheet topped out at 650hp, 670 ft/lb. Did a dry fit with an old air cleaner and new 2" cowl hood and fenders to check clearance.
Now just going to finish fabrication and been trying to save for a T-56 transmission. Living in Alberta, Canada it seems everything is more difficult to obtain and the boader is a nightmare for shipping. Been a few road blocks, but it's coming together slowly.

I had to put this cartoon on here. That is totally me when parts shows up!!
