I'm looking at pulling the trigger on a NRE TT BB has anyone dealt with them? Marty showed me a listing on PT.COM someone selling one still at NRE getting finished. Talked with the gentleman but it doesn't look like its going to happen. I'm looking for any input. NRE isn't for the faint of heart price wise let me tell ya. Anyone listening, stay away from Marty (SYBORGTT) he's good at spending your money!!!
There are a lot of threads on various forums in which people are very unhappy with the amount of time it takes to get parts from Tom Nelson, especially after dropping huge amounts of cash as a deposit. I can only speak from my experience with Tom Nelson. I inquired about a set of billet valve covers and Tom told me I was in luck because they were going to machine a batch in 2 days. I put down $1500.00 and was promised the valve covers in less than two weeks. After two months of excuses from him I finally tried to cancel my order. He quit returning my calls and emails and I filed a claim with my credit card to get my money back.
