Default AM Short Sweep Fuel gauge

Question, I have the AM short sweep electric gauge for the fuel gauge. There are three wires for the factory gauge but there is only one slot on the AM gauge for the sendor signal.

So my questions is can i use the factory wiring in some sort of manner, or is there a sendor unit I need to purchase? I will be installing it all this Friday and want to be prepared if I should have ordered a sender or am I able to just use existing wiring...

I am not sure about factory gauges but I would imagine those 3 wires
are power, ground and sender.

Thumbs up

Yeah, just like DRC says there are 3 inputs on the AM guage (ign, ground, signal). You can use the the tan wire on the factory dash cluster connection for your signal on the gauge. You can use your existing tank sendor (assuming it is the factory or aftermarket one), you just have make sure the gauge and sender are the same ohms range (factory camaro sender is 0-90 ohm).
