Default Is this new or just my computer?

I noticed this past week that I now have words that are underlined (and or sometimes in blue) on the >>> car <<<< fourms I go to, and when you pass over them a banner pops up. Is this new on fourms or is it only my computer? And can I get rid of it ??

No, it isn't new and to my recollection you cannot get rid of it. It is maketing and advertisement. Sort of the way all of the pop adds are on Yahoo.

No, we don't Jody and thank you ever so much. I hate that stuff over on chevelles.com. They not only highlight and link the word "cars", but there will be a whole post in your thread from a marketer/business advertisement. Drives me crazy.

I think if you're a supporting member over there you don't see any ads. I also thought any registered members only got a bit of it. Unregistered guests get the whole shebang.

I didn't fix anything............ we do not have Google ads or any others on this site. If you're seeing that you have a problem on your computer.

What exact "car" word was blue? Can you give me a link to the actual thread you're seeing that in?

Jody, it was in every thread and post including this one (at least for me) even the word poverty in my sig, was blue and under lined before Now the blue and underline is gone. The word "Car" with the arrows pointing at it in my first post in here was blue

By the way, it can be a huge revenue generator for a site, depending on how busy it is. Google Ads has approached us about adding just a banner to the site, and if I told you how much revenue they claim it would bring in for us you'd be surprised that I have not done it.
