Default 71 240z lt1 protouring

well back in december i started this project, hope u like



start




progress







so far

355ci t1
t56
totally rewired harness
q45 rear end, mosser halfshafts, cvs, billet mustache bar and adapters
17x9.5 forged 2 piece wheels
sparco seats, steering, stewart warner gauges
12.5" 4 pot willwood brakes
motor mounted 4" back, 50/50 weight
koni inserts, springs, sway bars, bushings

motor runs well, have to drop in 1 more halfshaft and clutcvh pedal and i can take it for a spin

car weighs 2600lb with me in it and has 350whp

Really cool car with the LT1, reminds me of that Darius 240 with the blown LT1 from back in the day.

275/40/17s out back with an independent suspension said to handle over 700whp and has already put down some 1.39-1.45 60ft times

cant wait to get the exhaust on and go cause some trouble

Yeah Darius's 240z is going though some hot changes right now. I have always been a fan of the V8 in a nice 240z, like a modified Scarab. One of the quickest cars I have been in.

Speaking of Darius' 240z. I haven't seen that car in awhile. But yours is looking like it will be a beast not to be messed with. I just saw one at Pleasonton with an LS1, very nice. Keep us informed with the progress. I would love to see how yours performs. BEAST!!!!

i have a nice early 280Z sittin behind the shop, eventually i will be doin something like this.... ok..well probably not... it will probably just sit out there and rot.... anybody want a z car
