Default Wiesmann - German car builder

I had the opportunity to tour Wiesmann's production location in Germany during a business trip last week. While it is a rather expensive car, it was still pretty cool and very impressive in many instances. The bodies are fiberglass, the chassis is all there own, and the driveline is from BMW. Too bad I didn't get the chance to "test drive" one on the a-bahn!

Enjoy!

Really was a great experience. And they could care less how many pictures you take while you are there. They don't export to the US market unfortunately, but they are very interesting even though the styling might not be for everyone. Still, it was a motivating trip and they've accomplished some cool things (by relying mostly on BMW). They have options for park distance control (front and rear), back-up cameras, ABS / traction control, basically all engines available from BMW (straight 6 or V8, formerly even the V10) and the associated transmission (even a DCT). So many things that I was planning in my car, they are doing. That was somehow motivating and comforting that I can make this work.

I love that gray one. Kinda reminds me of some of the TVR stuff they put out some years back. I bet that thing is super fun to pilot.
