You mean 40 years. You can expect to see the F-15's for long time in service with the upgrades coming.

JSF was meant to replace the following aircraft, F-16, A-10, FA/18, AV-8B, British Harrier GR7 & GR9, and Canada's CF-18.
F-22 was meant to replace F-15. A friend of mine is former F-15C fighter pilot, but I know a few other fighter pilots as well.
