Default More Lateral G's

This is an excellent video, "Yankin and Bankin". It puts you in the cockpit and you can almost feel the "Gs". These are F-15s that are doing some extended Air Combat Maneuvering (ACM) training and refueling before going back and doing it again. They are operating out of Kadena AB in Okinawa, Japan.

Just another day at the office. One heck of a view from the window.

Shuddup........

It's not possible to watch too much F15 footage. Hadn't seen that and it's a good one!

The F15 is IMO one of the coolest looking fighters from every angle ever built.

Agreed, she sure is pretty for an almost 50 year old basic airframe design. Imagine the world-beater it was back in the 70's....

Now imagine what the new JSF will do for the next 50.

You mean 40 years. You can expect to see the F-15's for long time in service with the upgrades coming. http://www.airforcetimes.com/news/20...-life-102912w/

JSF was meant to replace the following aircraft, F-16, A-10, FA/18, AV-8B, British Harrier GR7 & GR9, and Canada's CF-18.

F-22 was meant to replace F-15. A friend of mine is former F-15C fighter pilot, but I know a few other fighter pilots as well.

I have recently worked on the oldest F-15 still flying, NASA 836 at Edwards AFB. This F-15 currently serves as a supersonic research platform for NASA. These aircraft are built like a tank, and still have incredible performance.

That being said, there has been no development work being done on the F-15 at Edwards AFB for a number of years.

The F-22 is the future of manned air to air combat, and pushes these boundries on a daily basis.

Great Video Ron, Thanks!
