Looking for a little advice on wheels, I have a 69 camaro with mini tubs and morrison rear clip. I have a new set of kdws, 275 35 18, and 335 30 18. I have a axle flange width of 55" with 14.5 inches from outer wheel lip to inner tub. I also am running 14 inch wilwood on front, also morrison clip. I have seen a few running vette style wheels with spacers? I am not to thrilled about the spacer setup although it must work ok. I like the zr1 style wheels. I would like advice on running 18s on the front and 19s on the rear? or do I keep the tires I have and run 18s all the way around, Like 18/9 front and 18/11 or 12 rear? I would rather not spend 3g on wheels but may be the only choice.
Given the level of your build, I would think new custom wheels would be a given. What's the opportunity cost to not use the tires you have now? I would think an 18x9 or 9.5 up front and an 18x12 out back would work well for your application with BS's for your chassis.
I have come to the realization that I will have to have custom wheels made, You guys are right by telling me not to (be a tightass). I think I may go with rushforth. Have contacted them a few times and they seem to be straight shooters. At this point in my build I have so much time and money in it might as well finish it up right.

Save a little longer and get what you really want. It took me 5 yrs to decide on wheels and when Forgeline had their black friday sale I finally pulled the trigger. Wheels and stance can make or break a car. If you don't do it right the 1st time you will always wish you did

Yep your right Vince, titties and wheels, reminds me of the saying if it has tits or tires your gonna have problems, I don't think If she had a $4,000 top end anyone would look at her shoes, lol

Jason is a stand-up guy and his wheels are manufactured now with the best quality I have seen from him. Trust me I think I am over 10 sets now. He will steer you right on the finishes and style.

Just installed Forgeline ZX3's myself. 18x10, 18x12. 265/35 and 335/30 tires. Could have went with 275 but would have to raise the coil overs to make work and would not have had the stance I wanted. Have a Chassisworks pro G and DSE quadralink mini tubbed.

Is that what your running on the red chevelle, that was one on my list to see at the sema show, I finally saw it the last day and about 30 miles walking later in the far end of the building, That is a sweet car.
