Default Tire and Wheel Questions for 69 Camaro

Got a few questions for you all, I have a friend with a 69 Camaro Coupe and I need to order him some new rims/tires. He is putting on a Baer Track kit up front and the Sport Kit in the rear. We were going to do some Billet Specialties 17x9.5 (275/40R17) and 17x8 (245/40R17).

What rim/tire sizes should I look for. He doesn't want to run minitubs, so we are limited to the stock wheel wells?

Also, he is looking at the DSE bolt on rear end housing mounts. Right now, his shocks mount to the spring perch, where should we relocate the shocks to?

Kevin, who's car is that?

Your wheel and tire sizes are right, that's what you want and use 4.75" and 5.5" backspacing.

The DSE bolt on perches don't change where you mount the shocks.
