Default SBC Heads ???

What heads for a 383 are best out of the box with about 10.1 compression?
It will be for a strip/street application. Aluminum heads or iron price some where between $800-$1300.

Any answers will be apreciated and the winner will get a free subscription to friendship and possibly a high five hehehe.

I know a lot of guys love the AFR 195's on their 383's, but they might be on the upper end of your budget listed. They come in 68 or 74cc chambers.

In all honesty, try looking at a set of Brodix heads. They make great power.

if you get dart check the valves before you bolt them on my wer"nt even touching the seats so i had to get them reworked out of the box. not sure if dart did them or if jegs buys them bare and assembles them.
