Default Barry White 69 Chevelle on TLC

Hello,

Love the site Scott. Great Job.

Did anyone happen to see the show last night on TLC called "Wrecks To Riches" http://tlc.discovery.com/tvlistings/...=0&channel=TLC

Barry White takes a 69 Chevelle, restores it then sells it at auction.

My question is first what did you think of the car? and the million $ question what where the Rims on the car? I have been looking for a set of rims that are black or dark gray that will fit on my Chevelle.

Thanks

I noticed that too Steve.
I liked the car except for the stripe.

We all want to know since you can apparently get a complete set with tires for only 72 dollars

Sorry, I couldn't resist. Try here:

Barry has those wheels made and sells them under his own brand and as far as black or gray wheels, You can paint or powdercoat any wheel. Worry about size and design, then make them black or gray.

The stripe on the side was awful. Could have put a little more time, effort and thought for something better.

The show was re-aired last night. I watched it again to see if I could pick up on any of the negative comments about the show. Though not extremely well produced or compelling, it was better than watching the other crap on TV. I'll watch the next episode and try not to care too much about the shortcomings. It's still guys buildin' cool cars afterall!

Barry was at least accurate about one thing, his daughter's a whiney BRAT! I hope she isn't a regular on the show if it doesn't get axed first.

Chris Brown does some pretty good artwork, but the design of that stripe was pretty half-a$$ed IMO. Who knows, maybe it was Barry's call.
