Default complete track proven 1st gen camaro subframe

Hey guys, im working on a new chassis for my camaro and im going to sell my old setup. The chassis is powdercoated satin black and uses modified stock camaro lower arms and tubular upper arms. It will come complete ready to go with unisteer power rack, QA1 shocks, speedway engineering splined sway bar and wilwood brakes. All bushings and ball joints are new. The track width is two inches narrower than stock and is lighter than a stock sub. You can run an 18x11 wheel with no mods to the fender or inner fender. It will come with bay bars and a set of LS street and performance headers that i modified to fit the chassis. The trans crossmember is set up for a T56. I have had alot of success with this chassis and it should be a great setup for someone. All you will need to do is drop a motor and trans in it and bolt it in the car.

3500.00 shipped

It has stock spindles and hubs with new bearings. The control arms are narrowed an inch to help the camber gain. Right now i would like to sell it as a complete chassis.

thanks,

sorry it took so long to respond. I dont really have any good pics of the motor in the chassis other than the ones i posted. The motor sits as low in the chassis as possible and oil pan is flush with the bottom of the crossmember. In my 69 camaro the cylinder heads are about 1/2" to 3/4" away from the firewall. I modified a stock F-body pan and notched it to make it clear. You can buy a modified F-body pan from street and performance or a champ pan will also work. I am going to get some good pictures up tomorrow of the chassis with no motor or trans in it.

thanks,
kevin miller

Can you send me the pics you take today? My email is grsdup1@aol. In your first pics with the engine installed, the the engine trans look very high in front, sloping down to the crossmember. It seems excessive, but you dont often get to look at things up high at eye level like in that pic. My concern is that its way more than 3* down. Thanks for your time.

This seems like a great deal. I would not worry about the angle of the engine/trans until you start looking past 5*. As long as you have the ability to adjust your pinion angle to make your u-joint working angles correct it is not a problem! If you like this setup, I say go for it!

Must have it figured out Scott as the car has proven it's self time and time again (that Dam car is REALLY fast and dollar for dollar stacks up against 1st gen out there)..... The price s right,,, the parts are proven indeed,,,, so it'll be a decision for someone to make on personal finances in my opinion....
