Default Got my radiator for Penny.. cooling system complete!

I love when big boxes come in the mail..

AFCO did a great job.. the welds are very clean and the shroud fits perfectly. They even sent me a surge tank.

All my engine pullies will be annodized black to match the black bell on the Meziere electric water pump. I need to find a replacement for the polished radiator cap, or just brush it.

I would hate to ask what all that cost. LOL Penny is going to be worth a lot more than a penny with all the goodies your putting on her.

It was a pretty reasonable price.. RETAIL on the radaito was $519 but I think they sell at Jobber which is less.. I will check the invoice tomorrow.. the fan, shroud and electronics ran about $270 retail (again, I think that's like MSRP which isn't what they sell at)..

That includes custom polishing but I asked them not to do that

Man, that is very reasonable even if that is MSRP. Looks good too.

Steve,
Are they alum colored clear coated pulleys? I have a March set that I am looking into powdercoating black but I am wondering if the anodizing would be best. Who is doing the anodizing?

Sweet! AFCO does amazing work. I have sold 10 or 12 radiators from them, a few were custom, and I have to take each one out of the box just to admire it

I use Embee Performance Coatings in Santa Ana, CA. I am having the pullies black hard coated. It was a pain since we had to strip all the pullies (of old coatings) then bead blast all the surfaces so they are uniform. If you don't do this the look on each pulley will be different since they will take the dye differently depending on the surface texture. Sometimes I think I should have just powder painted them.. lol

John Parsons had this same problem.. it's hard to get a uniform annodizing color across a spectrum of parts.
