Default fuel line routing question

I have a aeromotive stealth fuel cell with a1000 in it part #18661. Should i run a-8 line up to the fuel rail so fuel starts on one rail goes to cross over and then place my regulator after second rail then my return line to tank from there? Or line from pump to a y and-6 line to each rail then put regulator in the cross over and my return line from there? Its a 408 ls n/a motor. I was going to run the stock ls2 rail with a regulator before rail and a return from it buti have heard this not a good idea. I believe the call it deadhead system. Thanks Robert

Deadhead . Return at the rear near the tank and be sure to use aeromotive pump speed controller with that beast of a pump.
