1961 Chevy Parkwood Wagon, Original paint with plenty of patina and clear coat.
Currently on air with 350 CID and Poweglide, makes a nice cruiser, but......
Due to opportunity (thanks Smitty) after New Year I will begin project by adding a 454 sbc (Merlin block, callies crank, AFR aluminum heads etc.) and Fuel injection (Borla Intake-like webers) and a 5 speed Tremac TKO, along with new gas tank, aluminum radiator, 9 inch rear, Vinatge AC etc. Wheels/brakes to be determined as well as but will lean heavy on the Board for input.
Goal is a great drive anywhere cruiser with kids, not a track killer, but an awesome longroof that handles, brakes and puts 625HP down nicely.
That's my one hesitation the tranny but I have it already paid for and figure the cost of a proper OD automatic will far exceed the resale of this tremac. Plus IMO a bench w stick always looks killer
I'm instantly jealous. I want either a 4 door or a wagon for a daily. That thing is perfect for here in Hawaii. Surfboards fit in the back and it looks mean.
