anyone know if these clear c5 brakes? i tried searching around but couldnt get a definative answer

Newstalgia wheel can tell you tomorrow, Bill Mitchell is who I spoke with if memory serves me right... doesn't always though.
Also, if you can download the Billet Specialties catalog each wheel style has an icon to indicate if they clear big brakes or not.
