Place to stay in Las vegas - Lateral-g Forums

Hi all i am planning a trip to the US in May and part of the trip i will be spending about a week in Vegas. Can anyone reccommend a place to stay that has somethiung for the kids and the parents. The more i research Hotels the more they seem the same. I will be doing a helicopter flight over the Grand canyon, but have nothing else definately booked yet. Looking for a few tips from the locals or people who visit the area .

Will be doing a cruise out of Miami and spend some time in San Francisco aswell. Any other must do things, let me know.

I have been very impressed with the Palazzo. All of my friends that have stayed there have loved it and said the price was great.

Not sure about a place that has things for the kids. Las Vegas doesn't have much that way.

I'll ask the wife and if she has anything else to add I'll be sure to pass it along.

Vegas does not really cater to kids. There is Circus Circus (hotel is a dump) w a pretty fun amusement park and Exclaiber (2.5 stars) which has a large lower level game room.

I would follow Curtis' advice and stay at a place like the Pallazo or other nice strip hotel and take the kids to these venues.
