SLC is gorgeous!
So I find myself chilling in SLC at the airport right now while waiting on dear ole mom to fly in from ATL. This place is gorgeous. You may think Mormons are crazy but they sure do know how to pick a place for their base of operations. I came in last night and leave again once mom arrives so I won't get much time here but I can tell I'm going to have to come back.
Couple observations:
-There are so many attractive ladies here. They exercise and are fit in general. They also don't over do it on makeup. So many of them are natural blondes too.
-These people suck at driving. They are horrible and I'm from back East and spent plenty of time in driving in ATL. I know what bad driving is but this is ridiculous.
-There is so much to do outside. I love it. Hiking, biking, off road, etc etc
-The city is tucked up against the mountains. Driving in from the East is the best since you're in a canyon and it just opens into the valley with the city and lake on the far side.
I'll post pictures once I return to Kansas but I rode a dirt bike for the first time last night. I also wrecked a dirt bike for the first time last night, lol. Just scraped up so nothing major and the bike is fine as well. I did my friends a huge favor by finding that hole for them. I was doing so well up until that point. I think I'm going to get a dirt bike when I return to Georgia. No idea on where to ride though so we'll see.
Next stop, Yellow Stone NP

Zion national park is unbelievable too.
You said natural blondes... are saying that the carpet matches the drapes out there?

Nah. I was going to get one while I was in Grand Junction which was the first place I moved when I left Georgia but was only there for 4 months. I do have a Duc and a Ninja though.
Scott, what park is that?

Drapes don't have to match carpets to be real I've got a friend that is blonde but only on her head Regardless, I was too busy watching yoga pants and tight full length skirts, lol.
I did go down town and see Temple Square. That is some very nice architecture they have on those buildings. I left my camera cable at home so I can't upload anything until I return.

I'm up in West Yellow Stone Montana now. I really liked the drive up here. Idaho has more people than SW Kansas. I was honestly surprised at how populated the state is. Well, at least the I15 corridor anyway.
Tomorrow we'll go into the park itself.

you would think you would have to watch for the bears, but you actually have to watch for the bus loads of asians, they are way more dangerous then the bears, I live in central wyoming, Riverton, enjoy your trip, If you go to jackson make sure you go into the million dollar cowboy bar and sit on a saddle, have fun

lol, I'm having visions of National Lampoon or any of the other 80s movies with the Japanese guy taking pictures constantly.
Right now, it's some what off season. Kids are back in school and most stuff closes down at the beginning of Oct from what research my mom did. Basically, it sounds like we came at the right time to avoid most crowds. The other thing for me is the weather/temps. It's so comfortable to me right now.
