Default New sheet metal paint procedure?

Guys my car has all new aftermarket metal and has been totally gapped and fitted. Its torn down again to start the paint stages so what should I do with parts like the hood latch assembly and all brackets in front end? It has the EDP coating on them so should I scuff, spray epoxy ,scuff then paint with satin black top coat or just scuff EDP and paint with final satin black? Thanks guys!

You want to prep the parts, but first make sure that the coating on them is EDP and not some reversible cheap stuff. Simple test just take some thinner or strong cleaning solivent and see if comes off, if does then you want to strip that stuff off first and epoxy and paint, if it stays on then scuff and seal and paint.

I would not use spray can products here thow, I would either use a single stage Rally black or black base coat with mat clear. The spray can will never hold up on those parts.
