This is a built, complete and ready to drop in Pontiac 400 engine, from oil pan to carb, dist etc. Perfect runner and ready to drop in. I bought it with a car since the owner did not want to separate then sold the car. I believe this is a 72-73 GTO engine block, the engine was fully rebuilt, has new gaskets and hoses, etc.
I am in no hurry to sell and basically want to sell to recoup some of my funds. I also have the complete bellhousing with parts, as well as a Muncie 4 speed I can include for extra.
Looking for $2500 for the engine. I have headers, etc I will include.
The gentlemen I bought form had a local shop build the setup about 5 years ago, and mentioned he paid almost $5000 for the build, and per his specs the engine whoudl be pushing in the 400 to 450 HP range. However I have no paperwork, but you can see all teh new gaskets, and other signs of the rebuild. The engine has a more agressive cam, sounds insane mean and runs smooth. I made the car run before I sold teh car and it drove like a bat out of hell, I literally almost pissed myself as the car took off and I could not get traction on the old BFG tires
reason of sale is I am going with a LS swap otherwise I would not sell it.
