Default Need Chrome Plater

I read in one of the threads someone having their trim redone by a shop somewhere in Cali and can't remember where. Any recommendations in NorCal or California in general? My wifes co-worker is restoring her Morris Minor and would like to have the trim redone.

Good Ol Cali. Not the best state for chemial process manufacturers, especially chrome platers so look for someone here to step up w an out of stater. Down here, Orange County Plating has done show chrome for me w consistent results.

Thanks Ron. I'll pass this info on. The only chrome plater I can think of is the one they always use on Musclecar TV.

All the chrome on my '32 was done at Sherms.... but what Frisbee does is has them copper it - send it back and Frisbee blocks it out - then sends it back for Chroming. I've seen other chrome that Sherms does and it's fantastic.

Hmm, then what is Sherm's process - standard triple plate is copper, nickel then chrome. Is Frisbee a third party? Sherm doesn't do the copper? Just trying to understand what you're saying.

And what happened to Lemon Grove - wasn't they one of the top platers in the country at one time?
