Default Help w/ sidw cowl panels!

I need some help with the side cowl panels on my Camaro. Purchased from Year One (don't know who's) and they are not wide enough to install correctly. These pixs should help with this description .... clamp the panel to the hinge brace and there is a gap at the firewall, clamp to the firewall and there is a gap at the hinge brace ... too narrow!!!
Any suggestions? I posted in my thread but thought I'd get some body guys to chime in with this post.
Has anyone had any better luck and if so ...... what brand?

Clamped to the brace.

Gap at firewall.

Those circles are where the old cowl was welded.

If I clamp to the firewall this gap apprears.

Any help would be appreciated I'm calling Year One in the am anyway!

Default

I am returning the panels to Year One, I think that is the smart thing to do right now. I talked with Craig Hopkins at the AMD installation center and he says their panels are test fitted and would work ... now I just have to wait til they are in stock and order a set and get on with the cowl.
Thanks
