Default 70 Mach 1 from the NYC area

Hey guys I wanted to introduce myself and share a little info on my current toy.

I have been building custom cars and doing restorations for over 20 years as a hobby and privately for clients of my other business and have decided in 2012 to do classic cars and building cars full time. I am in the tedious process of opening up a small showroom and shop in the NYC area and let me tell you its super stressful.

I recently sold a few of my classic cars in order to step into a pro Touring segment. Considering my lack of time these days and my utmost desire to drive and attend events this spring and summer i picked up a 70 Mach 1 that was built super nice. I figured if i start a project myself it will take 2-3 years to get on the road and I really wasn't willing to wait. The Mach 1 i bought has some really great things about it already and it lends itself as the perfect canvas for me to do my own personal changes for my needs.

Current plans for the ride are Atomic EFI, Vintage Air, New steering column and wheel, new Forged wheels and tires, upgraded interior and stereo system and some black out treatment on the chrome/stainless trim.

Here are some photos of it.

I am not partial to GM or Fords because I absolutely like them all because they are all cool in their own right.

Welcome to the site from another '70 Mustang owner. Looks like your purchace was a nice one! We seem to be in the same boat as far as shop levels, but I'm not as brave as you. I am taking the business end alot slower, since the demand for classics in my area are limited to a select few. Best of luck with all you do, and post some pics when you get new parts!
