Default Cortez Silver...

Hello all.
From the pics/research I've seen, I can't tell if Cortez Silver ('70 GM) has any metallic in it? I want to go base clear with my '66 Chevelle. Any insight would be great.

Cheers,
J

I had a Camaro that was Cortez silver and it had metallic in it. Keep in mind that I bought the car that color so I do not know if it was correct or not. Why don't you call a local paint shop and ask them. If not go on paintscratch.com and see if they have it listed.

I had a 66 Chevelle that was supposedly Cortez Silver a few years ago and I don't recall that it had a lot of metallic in it, if any.

From all of the factory correct, Cortez Silver cars that I've seen, they all had metallic in them.

The silvers used on the late model Mercedes an Audis have loads of metallic and look awsome. One of these would be my choice.
