Default Fbody radiator

Will a 1998-2002 f body LS1/T56 radiator fit in my 1967 Camaro? Guess i should ask how much work will it take to make it fit.

You might want to check the Height. Sorry I can't do it for you, i don't have access to my car right now. In my Chevelle, I am going to have to move the lower rad mount down bc the fbody rad is a few inches taller than stock.

Don't know if this helps but we have one in a 69 firebird and it fits great. We just fabbed a new lower mount and a top cover. I need to redo the top piece to make it prettier but other than that it's great.

I have used that rad a few times in 67-69 camaro/firebird. I have one in the 68 firebird I'm building. I made some mounts with some flat aluminum stock and used some rubber bushings between them & the core support. I had to notch the battery tray slightly to keep the rad positioned where I thought it fit best. I can get you some pics if needed.

Default Photos of the bottom mount for the radiator?

Anybody have photos of the way they mounted the bottom of the radiator? And how the bottom of the core support was reworked/modified?

I'm going to do the same thing. I've been toying with reworking the opening on the 1969 core support to make the air opening wider, and cutting off and adding more depth to the bottom of the radiator core support. Also, I have the front end of the 4th gen Camaro, so I was thinking of pulling off the base/cradle for the bottom mount of the radiator from the 4th gen and welding it up to the 1st gen core support. Also plan to use the A/C radiator too. Not worried about the battery box, it is going to be relocated to the back of the car.
