Default I Luv Ebay

I have to share my newest Ebay story with somebody. I parted out a '69 Camaro a few years ago. It was a basic car but it was a radio-delete car. I sold the radio block off panel several years ago for $75.

I was going though some boxes 2 weeks ago and found cardboard panel from this car that goes under the dash speaker opening. This would be used for any Camaro that didn't have a center dash speaker (radio-delete or Blue-light Stereo).

Anyhow, I realize that there might be somebody out there that wants this. I put it on Ebay Feb 12th, got a $5 bid, a few days later a $10 bid.

With 20 seconds to go a got a few more bids. Check out the outcome:

Keep in mind this is a 37 year old piece of cardboard.

People will pay crazy dollars for anything. I would say I can't believe it but there is always some nut selling a slice of bread that looks like Jesus or Mary.

Ebay is strange like that. Next week you might not have made a single $5 bid.

I sold a pair of clean doors off an 81 Vette I parted and only got $50 out of them (they usually go for $250 or more each)!

That same time I sold the jack from the car. I assumed it would go for $10 tops. It ended up going for over $80. I almost threw it away since there really is nothing special about it.

The guy buying your part has a high feedback score so I assume he knows what he is doing paying that much. It makes you wonder what he thinks it is worth because there is no doubt he is going to flip the item.
