LY6 Shortblocks
Hey guys, I got a line on a couple of new, LY6 shortblocks. The LY6 is the same thing as the LS2, except it is the iron version. The LY6 is also a Gen IV LS engine. They are 58 tooth reluctor ring. Everything is stock (pistons, crank, etc). Again, these are just the shortblocks. You will need an oilpan, heads, intake, cam. $2000 + shipping to the continental US.

Where are you located? How long have they been sitting up without the heads and oilpan? Interested in any additional info you can provide. Thanks-

I may have a pair of new L92/ LS3 #823 casting heads available for these LY6 shortblocks
I may be changing directions on a project and will offer the heads
they are brand new LS3 GM #823 's complete with LS3 valves (L92 valves are different, but same size) springs, retainers, keepers and seals
Great price on the new shortblocks!!
We just built a LY6 for a buddies sandrail , stock bottom end w/ ARP rod bolts, Lunati cam/ springs/pushrods on L92 heads, LS3 intake w/ 96mm throttle body and a custom tune (on chassis dyno) it made 540hp @ at the crank!

Any short block I've ever known didn't come with a cam. Ordered mine from Texas Speed and Performance...no cam. Here a 3 references of reputable places I'm sure many of us has heard of. All their shortblocks don't come with cams. Now, I'm pretty sure any builder will build you a shortblock and put a cam in it for you, but typically, as I know of...I repeat, as I know of, shortblocks don't come with cams. Longblocks do, but then again, you get the heads, oil pan, etc.
