Default How much weight is too much for wheels?

I have narrowed down my 18" wheel purchase to two types. I asked about the weights and was told 24-25lbs. This is for a 18x9.5" 2pc wheel. Is this the normal weight for a wheel this size or is it too much? Do any of you with 18" wheels know your wheel weight? It sounds too much for me.

Thx, Frank

The wheel database at PT.com has been redone recently to include weights as well if I remember right.

Thanks for taking the time Travis. You are correct MuscleRodz, PT has a huge wheel weight chart. A few weights seem off to me, but for the most part, its a killer reference.
