a 6l90e will work. my father in law ran one for a while in his chevy II, but it was huge and you have to run low numeric gear ratio because of the gearing in the tranny. a 3.89 was too much imo. ended up taking it out and going t56 magnum. so much more enjoyable!!

So ur ls3 with the charger. Has more power than a ls9. I have a 1969 camaro

I'm running a T-56 modified by D&D Performance and it has work great.

My LS9 in now 427 CID and makes 830 ft*lbs.

Anyone try Rockland Standard Gear's Tranzilla? They claim it will take 1,200 hp and 1,000 ft/lbs.

My new engine should hit 900 ft*lbs. I'm using a TR6060 this time.

John at Speartech has been doing the 6L90 for while and has had good luck with them so far.Anybody with more info why to or why not to use a 6L90 trans?
