Default 2nd. Gen headers

What's up fellas, anyone have any ideas for budget friendly 2nd gen ls headers?

I was planning on using Edelbrock but with them being out of the exhaust business I'm looking for new ideas. I've been looking at Dynatech and they seem to be decent but I'm curious how they fit. Have any of you used them or have any other ideas.

Who's engine mounts are you using? That may make a difference.

On my 73 Camaro L92/TKO 600 swap I have 1 7/8" dyna techs. Fit is good. My engine is 1" back from stock. They may be a bit low for ground clearance. I shuold have some pics soon with the car on the ground at ride height.

I've made my own mounts, about an inch back from stock and lower also.

WOW your car looks great! Thanks for the help. do you ave a build thread on that somewhere or more pics you could share? I would love to see how the headers look after you get it on the ground or at least shooting in at the frame.

Thanks guys

The car is up on blocks as I put on the sheet metal and bleed the brakes. I will take a couples of shots of the header clearance. I made my engine plates and just redrilled the subframe for the one inch set back.

Pic of the left side header and clutch cross shaft.

No build thread.

Matt,
If you can find a set of leftover Edelbrock ls headers they are really nice. But they are discontinued. Check with Keys, Summit and Edelbrock for old back stock. The Dynatech set is also nice and I hear it fits well. I think Marty (syborgtt) just went through this on his build. Try searching his thread. "second chance camaro". It's all in there.
