Default I know, I know.. Just another Project Name Thread. Please Help.

I know that there seems to be alot of project name threads, but this is a hard one. I have had a new project come in, and the customer is having a hard time coming up with a name.. I would like to get him some suggestions, and start a pretty cool build thread on it..

My company Swedish Ops, and its Special Builds Division, will doing the works to this car. It is getting our full front and rear suspension kit, custom wheels, custom interior, LS conversion with the Keisler RS600 5-speed, a Speedway Engineering Mod-light rear end. It will be a daily driver, but they plan on using it for a bit of fun..

Here is a bit of history on the car.. They have owned is since 1975, and it used to be their daily driver. After all the years of service, they decided to restore it, and take it over the top.. The original plan was to bump up the OEM B20 4cyl up to about 250 horsepower, versus the 100 horse it was designed to be.. Over 2 years ago, they paid a reputable Volvo Engine builder about 10,000 dollars for a engine that was suppose to be ported and polished, fully balanced, dyno tuned, fully accessorized and ready to drop in with manable electronic ignition, header, intake with 4 Mikuni side draft carbs, light and balanced flywheel, performance clutch, etc, etc.. 2 year went by, and nothing.. The phone calls started getting ignored, so papers had to be filed.. Anyway, right before the papers, and 2 years later, the builder is finally ready to ship the motor..

This customer had ordered one of my front suspension kits, and he was telling me the story as the end was coming.. I had advised him to have the builder send pictures of the motor he was sending, and then if it didnt look like it when it arrived, dont sign for it. Well, the motor appears to just be a standard long block, and has none of the accessories on it, so it isnt ready to drop in like it was suppose to be..

I give the customer credit, he has not given up on this project, and has been nothing but patient. He is down thousands of dollars over this engine situation, but now he decided to go in even deeper.. LOL Here are some pics of the car, and some of the components we are going to be running. The front end kit pictured installed in the cars is a base kit, we are doing 13 inch Wilwoods on the front of the car, and 12 inch on the rear..

Here is how it arrived yesterday.

Here are some pics of some of the Swedish Ops components going into it...

We are also working on some custom wheel through Larry at EVOD Industries, and this is one of his first renditions.. We are considering adding an early Ferrari style, long and thin, triple blade knock off. And this would involve making this wheel a true knock off mount.

I was actually going to contact you on this one.. LOL I know you are a busy guy, and this guy is looking for something very clean, functional, sporty and a rear seat delete.. The customer doesnt mind paying for quality, and interior quality is damn near impossible in my area.

They are a wood working family, so we have been discussing a dark grey stained rear wood floor, with the nice metal strips between the slates.. It would be some exotic wood like a Zebra wood, that would go well with a dark leather grey or black interior. The customer would also supply the wood pieces, and they would be cut, prepped and ready for install..

That thing rocks!...call it " PTV Sweed Wagon " and look up the definition of sweed, it's pronounced the same way as Swede but means " to do things your own way"
