Talking Supercharged 2009 Corvette Z06 - Cyber Gray - Show Car!

11/22 - Corvette is SOLD! Thanks for viewing.

11/22 - Corvette is SOLD! Thanks for viewing.

Thanks for viewing my ad. I have decided to sell my Corvette in order to fund some more project builds. I wish I could afford to keep all of my project cars, but I have to sell them to build the next ones. And I build a lot of project cars...

2009 2LZ with 14.6K miles. About 4K of those were the Hotrod Power Tour in 2010. We built the car to be featured in the Nitto Tire booth for that week long event. I'm the original owner, it was purchased from a dealer in Lansing, Michigan. I wanted the rare red/black interior, they were the only ones in the country that had this combo at the time. The car has been a blast to build and own, and I've been using it for my 100 mile work commute at least 2 times per week lately. No accidents, no paint work, no door dings, no scratches, not even any swirl marks. The car just got a Mobil-1 oil change and fresh spark plugs yesterday, and is detailed and ready to go.

Modifications:
Magnacharger TVS2300 supercharger kit w/ 3.4" pulley (8.0 psi boost)
American Racing 1-7/8" headers with cats
NGK TR6 spark plugs @ 0.035
Dyno tuned by Late Model Racecraft www.latemodelracecraft.com
Remote control "Mild-2-Wild" operated exhaust valves on OEM exhaust
MGW Shifter & race knob
Billet aluminum dead pedal and throttle pedal
HRE 893R 3-piece 19x10 front and 20x12.5 rear wheels with Nitto Invo tires (285 front, 345
rear) cyber gray color matched, silver lip pinstripe
Lowered on WCC lowering bolts
HiTech CC carbon fiber hood
Katech carbon fiber rear spoiler
Katech carbon fiber front splitter
Carbon fiber rear bumper diffuser
Apsis front fender flare rock guards
LED tail lights
2012 GM Z06 suede steering wheel and arm rest (w/ Bluetooth, etc)
Lloyds floor mats and rear cargo mat
Katech racing valve covers and coil relocation kit
Katech spark plug wires
Katech LS9-X dual-disk clutch with aluminum flywheel (OEM pedal feel)
Katech remote clutch hydraulic fluid bleeder hose
Racing Brake 2-piece front brake rotors and pads
Braided stainless brake hoses front/rear
3M clear bra applied when 1 week old (nose, mirrors, rockers, fenders,
behind wheels)
Windows Texas legally tinted
Cooksey Z06 editon "427" hood emblems (removable)
Vinyl Ron Fellows red/silver fender hash marks (removable)

616 rwhp and 581 ft-lbs torque SAE Dynojet (700 hp crank) http://i466.photobucket.com/albums/r...ette/dyno1.jpg

The car has gone 179 mph in the standing mile, and went 10.67 @ 134 mph in the 1/4 this past Friday night.

$65K with the parts listed above. Some of the OEM parts can be purchased for an additional amount. Just the wheels/tires alone cost over $9K when I bought them. Add up the parts list, you'll see how quickly my projects can get out of hand.

So, how does it compare to the beloved ZR1 you might ask? For about half the price, it compares like this: http://i466.photobucket.com/albums/r...e/Z06vsZR1.jpg

Hell of a car Tony. For anyone that doesn't know him, Tony's stuff is perfect. You will not be disappointed when buying a car from Tony.

Good luck with the sale.

I second that. I have bought cars from Tony sight unseen and have been 100% happy. He's a stand up guy, great to deal with and you always get a deal!

Great looking car! I have been having trouble deciding if I should build a pro- tour style car or buy a Z06. I've owned a 2008 Z06 and they are a blast to drive! Just having a hard time giving up on the old cars, they seem to be in my blood. Good luck with the sale!!!

Talking

You and I both, Michael. I still own two '69 Camaros and a '70 Chevelle. I'm selling this one to fund the '69 build. Bang for the buck however, you simply can't beat the modern cars and technology/safety. Especially when starting with a C6 Z06.

Very true, hard to beat the performance of a Z06 for the money. I really like the old stuff and am torn between between the old cars and new. I feel if I choose one or the other I will be unhappy without the other type of car because they each bring alot of cool stuff to the table. If I could swing it, your car would be in my garage!!

Michael.
