CNC Motorsports?

Has anyone ever dealt with them before? Specifically their crate engines, I am looking at one of their 383 engines, they seem like a nice piece, and a great price. I also like the optional 1 year, 12k mile warranty. Has anyone ever bought anything from them? Any input is appreciated. thanks!

Never bought anything from them personally, but know a couple of guys who did. They recommend them and said they have good customer service. I'm probable going to buy a rotating assemble from them for my truck in the future when I get started on it. I'vs spoken to a guy there a few times about the rotating assembly and his customer service was exceptional. He answered all of my questions and seemed knowledgeable about what he was talking about and didn't seem to be rushed to get me off the phone like some companies do when you call them. Most of all they have good prices too. This may not be much help, but that's all I know.

I purchased my entire 496cid rotating assembly from them, best price around and shipping was fast to California!

No, I'd be adding some more cubes... looking at anything from a 393 to a 420. I am trying to keep a really short stroke though and gain some mid range.

CNC Motorsports is based out of Brookings South Dakota and have a large industrial based shop where they build engines and offer deep discounts on mail order performance parts and build kits. They have a large machine shop with a half dozen assembly staff and run a really good business with some great feedback. I have dealt with Jason there in the past and he's a good guy to know and work with. They have a great website and tons of positive feedback as a reputable builder at an aggressive price.

I priced my most recent engine build with Doug Herbert at Herbert Performance as well as Jason at CNC Motorsports. Both had an aggressive price that killed most other competition in the market, and I ended up building a high end 565 through Herbert in NC. Shipping was free in the continental US and it was built and shipped in a couple weeks from the time of order, all with choice components I might add.

Can't go wrong with any of the above builders in my mind.
