Default Round Two

Not sure if round two is appropriate or not. I don’t think the updates/mods have ever stopped since it hit the road for the first time. This is the start of some bigger changes though. My original plans for this winter were to pull the motor, trans, and sub frame. I was going to do DSE’s coilover kit and fix a small oil leak with the engine/trans. As well as some other updates
After Fikse took a little to long to fill my order plans changed. The Fikse’s were ordered for stock tubs. I cancelled the Fikse order and now have a set of Forgeline on the way. New plans are for a mini tub and Quadra Link. If time and budget allow I will still update the front end. I’m just not sure if it’ll happen this winter or not.

I never did a build thread when I built the car, so here goes the update thread. It might be a little slow, but I won’t miss any good driving weather come spring. The goal is to have the car back together no later than May.

Here is the first pic. All the DSE leaf spring stuff is out and ready to ship to it’s new owner.

Make room in that new shop for me! I was told that a 335 is a tight fit on the 67/8 Camaros. My plan is to get the stock tubs out and get everything cleaned up. I'll leave the final fit to you guys. I'm sure once the car is in your hands we will be adding to the to do list. I love the while I'm doing X I might as well do Y at the same time game.

I think I could make all the changes I wanted and I'd still need a driver mod to keep up with that car. You know whatever is on that car should just bolt right onto mine... Just saying.

Progress has been slow, but here are some update pictures. I'm a few more good days of work away from the car being ready to go to Joe and Paul Van Nus. I should be getting my wheels this week for mock up. Everything is starting to come together. I'm getting excited to get everything together and see what it looks like on the ground. Here are the pictures that of the progress.

Wheel pictures I got from Jon @ Driverz Inc

Here are the pictures of the holes I cut in my car.

Agreed, I'm glad they are so close to home for me. This is just a small project for them. Hopefully in the future I will have an entire paint and body build coming out of Dutch Boy Restorations.
