Default GM stock bell housing for LS2/T56 magnum?

I was told I could use a late model GTO bell housing with LS7 clutch/flywheel. Anyone confirm this works? If so, what throw out bearing?

Thanks,
Scot

I think the GTO and the F-body bell are the same depth flange to flange. Assuming this is true and the fact that the LS3/LS7 clutch works just fine in 98-02 F-bodies in theory it should work just fine.
