Default engine choice suggestions

here is my problem. i am building a 67 camaro and i cant decide which motor to put in it. choices are i bought a 540 with turbo 400 combo with 200 miles on it has alum heads or a few years ago i built a 02 trans am with ls1 6 sp. ls1 has alot of head work, larger cam, jesel shaft rockers and twin intercooled procharger setup.made 6 something at rear wheels. didnt like car so i drove it about 500 miles and stuck it in a building. dont mind parting the ws6 to get the running gear also has moser 12 bolt. which do you guys think wold be the way to go. thanks

Depends on how you like to use the car. If you do a lot of drag racing either setup works. But for autocross, open track it even just normal street driving the LS gets my vote.
Post some picture of the car sometime.

i am leaning toward the ls1 6 sp combination. dont know how hard it will be to fit all the intercooler plumbing into the 67. it will be a long project anyway. still ordering parts. ordered forgeline wheels, dse quadlink and mini tubs that will keep me busy for a while. so i dont have to decide on engine right now.
