Default bell housing bolts

I cant locate any bolts with the flange in my area.I can order them thru dealer @$4.50 ea. Can I get away with using a washer with a regular six point bolt of the correct size?
Thanks Robert

1. You can pick them off the ground at the self serve junk yards.

2. I have been using standard grade 8 bolts and washers for years with no issue.

Great, But just to be sure I noticed I didn't mention that it's for a ls-2 with 621 bell if it makes a difference.

McMaster-Carr is your friend. I ordered some for this same purpose just a few weeks ago. With the flange and everything. You get larger quantity but still reasonable. I think the box has 20-25 and shipping and all was ~20 I think.

If I had them in my possession instead of at the fab shop I'd send you some...

Thank's John,
Sweet looking nova you have there. I'm still striping paint on my 71. I like what you did to the back seat area, I had no idea what I was going to do with that unit. where did you get those metal pieces?

Thanks. If I could only take credit for that fab work ... All of the fab is being done by Dan at Holohan's Hot Rod Shop. He made all those pieces. Unlike some of the other fab things done where his years of experience paid off, you could probably make those without too much difficulty with just maybe a beverly shear. Or even a jig saw . Oops... just looked back at the pics. They are bead rolled too...
