It's amazing that Mclaren can actually repair that thing. Only 65 made must mean they are worth massive $$$

I love the new Allstate commercials so one of the comments after the article cracked me up.

I'm an oak tree. I like to jump in front of fast moving cars. You just came around the bend in a sweet looking ride. Hope you had Allstate to protect yourself... from mayhem like me.

One of the F1's auctioned for in excess of $7 million a couple months back if I remember correctly.

Yeap. This car was ahead of its time when it debuted in the 90's. 17 years later I think it has aged incredibly well, both in performance and aesthetics. Most modern supercars still can't keep up with it. The Bugatti Veyron might have dusted the top speed record but is more a feat of over-engineering (I admire the purity of the F1).

I happen to be a diehard Mclaren fan. The closest to a Mclaren F1 I'll ever get is my copy of "Driving Ambition". Although there is a gentleman in MA that owns two, one of which is 1 of the 5 F1 LM's (my favorite F1 variant). I'd love to see that car in person!
