This is totally the most random post I have ever had, but figured I would ask. My girlfriend and I watched
www.fatsickandnearlydead.com and now there is a juicer and a fridge full of fruits and vegetables in my apartment! Wonders! But with everything I get a bit concerned right before we start this. Even if know one is an expert, here is what its about for your comments (like how much of a girl I am hahaha).
10 days, or well...we will see - only juice and raw fruits/vegetables. I am adding protein powder to it. You are still taking in close to 2k calories, but mainly juice.
I am 24 and she is 22, both of us in great shape, both have run marathons recently, work out daily, clocked 15 miles in the 100 degree temps yesterday and kept on ticking. So its not two fatties doing something insane. But we are blessed with youth and good metabolisms so the amount of junk and food we normally eat is insane, trust me! I should be massive. I don't take this for granted. I am doing this to see if it boosts my energy, overall feeling.
If there are any experts on here, would be interesting to get a point of view. Our PCP's don't care, but are not food experts. What is the big risk here other than being totally tired (adding black coffee once a day), and low protein (adding protein powder)?
Have at it!
